Abstract

The communication of research results to society is one of the core tasks of the institute as laid down in its statutes and has generally become central to the work of research institutions such as the HAIT today. One way of fulfilling this task, which is used intensively by all scientists at the institute, is to organise and participate in events, above all the HAIT Colloquium. Furthermore, there are workshops and conferences, book presentations and panel discussions – selected events are focused on in retrospectives here in the annual report. In addition to the HAIT blog ‘Denken ohne Geländer’, which is firmly established in its third year of existence, media appearances remain another important form of knowledge transfer.
