Abstract
The research work at the HAIT is structured into three research fields: ‘Dictatorships and Autocracies in the 20th Century and Their Study’, ‘Transformations from an Internationally Comparative Perspective’ and ‘Comparative Research into Extremism and Autocracy’. The research field ‘Cross-Sectional Assignment: Conceptual and Intellectual-Historical Foundations’, which includes the Digital Humanities, serves as a structural link and common basis. Additionally, the area of ‘Internationalisation’ was newly created under the responsibility of PD Dr Friederike Kind-Kovács.
